Synopsis: Gabby Antonio Smashes the Imperialist, White Supremacist, Capitalist Patriarchy! is a comedy web series about the trials and tribulation of a young woman of color who struggles to do good in the whitest city in America. She wants to change the world, but it’s not quite happening – yet. It’s funny, non-preachy, and sparks important conversations about racism, cultural appropriation, gentrification, and all the ups and down of nonprofit life.

Raised in Portland, she’s known her best friend Gabby since high school. Trinh is high maintenance, slightly arrogant, but knows when to turn on the charm when necessary.

Trinh’s more conservative parents still live in Portland in a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood and own a boba shop. While Trinh enjoys her connections to the tight Asian community in Portland, she dreams of being a small fish in a larger pond.
As development director, Trinh will lead non-profit UNHAPI as it rigorously vies to win funding from Bunch O’Gals, a foundation led by wealthy white women. She’ll also face big questions about her cultural identity when she falls for Shep, the white boba shop owner.
